A level Revision and Study courses 2025 – Physics

Get a boost to progression to Higher Education with our free revision and study courses for Post 16 students.

Two online study sessions Tuesday 1^st April and Thursday 3^rd April 2025 covering different aspects of Physics through brief talks, problem solving and demonstrations. Students from both Year 12 and Year 13 are welcome to attend.

In previous years, topics covered have included:

• Mechanics and motion; materials
• Waves and oscillations; optics
• Thermal physics; units, measurements and errors; electric, magnetic and gravitational fields
• Physics demo (Phet Simulations)
• Photoelectric effect; atomic and particle physics; nuclear physics and radioactivity
• After A-level Physics
• Electricity and electronics

Students or groups can request places on as many of the events as they wish.
