Do you have a passion for history? Are you fascinated by archaeology and its ‘use’ by contemporary society? Have you ever wondered why and how prehistoric societies treated the dead compared to modern cultures? Are you wondering about a career in the heritage sector or keen to develop skills to help you progress in this competitive industry?

Join us for an engaging, interactive online event to learn about our exciting range of postgraduate courses in History, Archaeology and Heritage.

Across 90 minutes, you will be introduced to our dynamic inter-disciplinary curriculum, designed to equip students with advanced research skills, critical perspectives and hands-on experience working within and alongside archaeological and heritage professionals. Meet the course leaders, learn about our on-site learning spaces, and hear about some of our state-of-the-art equipment, such as virtual reality headsets, 3D scanning tools, and the Digital on Tour bus, from which drones are launched to facilitate geophysical survey. (Yes, we have a lot of exciting gadgets!).

If you are interested in studying with us, join us for our online information event where you can discover more! If you would like to make enquiries ahead of the event, please feel free to contact the course leaders Professor Tim Grady (MA History), Dr Caroline Pudney (MA Public Archaeology), Dr Amy Gray Jones (MA Death and Memory), Dr Morn Capper (MSc Museums and Heritage Practice), Professor Howard Williams (MRes Archaeology) and Dr David Harry (MRes History).
