On Saturday 17th August we will be holding a day where PGR (Postgraduate Research) students researching spiritual abuse or religious trauma can come together. The purpose of the day is to support researchers, to share research being conducted and to build networks. A small group of students have been meeting as part of a partnership between Replenished Life and the University of Chester, Division of Psychology. They have found these meetings to be helpful and we wanted to extend this in-person event invitation to others working in this area.

The day will run from 10am to 3pm and will include a talk from Dr Kathryn Kinmond about her experience of counselling for spiritual abuse/religious trauma and an overview of the work of Replenished Life. The focus will be an opportunity for each PGR attending to share an overview of their research. There will also be time for networking and of course time for lunch! The day is free to attend. Please bring your own lunch and refreshments, cakes will be provided.

If you have any questions or would like to attend please email l.oakley@chester.ac.uk
