Chester Business School and the Sustainability and Environment Research and Knowledge Exchange Institute (SERKEI) invite businesses and other organisations to a networking event (drinks and nibbles provided) on Thursday 28 November, focused on the theme of Survive or Thrive: Sustainable Business as a Force For Good.

Taking place at Chester Town Hall from 18.15-19.30 (arrivals from 6pm), Survive or Thrive builds on a larger scale conference of the same name held in June 2024.  Attendees at the June conference expressed a desire for a forum to allow the conversation to continue, and to invite others to join in – so we’re pleased to be able to host this networking event in response.

There will be short talks from organisations and individuals who are committed to enhancing their operational sustainability, including:

  • Cola
  • See Impact Ltd
  • Groundwork
  • Cheshire Wildlife Trust

The event also provides the opportunity to explore potential Knowledge Transfer Partnerships with regional businesses, possibilities for student work placements, employer consultation in support of the new academic framework, as well as broader research and knowledge exchange collaborations.

If you would like to attend, please register here – we’d be pleased to see you.
