In short, sharp online sessions, expert lecturers share their knowledge and engage with topics and issues from the A Level Religious Studies syllabus. A level students and teachers are especially welcome, but also GCSE and Key Stage Three, and indeed anyone with an interest!
Islamic Teachings on Crime and Punishment in Contemporary Britain.
This talk explores the concepts of hudud, qisas, and ta'zir in relation to British law. We’ll examine how British Muslim communities engage with teachings on these concepts, focusing on the role of Shari‘a councils and restorative justice.
