Theology & Religious Studies Webinars return for a Sixth Series!

In short, sharp online sessions, expert lecturers share their knowledge and engage with topics and issues from the A Level Religious Studies syllabus. A level students and teachers are especially welcome, but also GCSE and Key Stage Three, and indeed anyone with an interest!

Should theologians argue for the historicity of Jesus’ resurrection?

While some theologians and biblical scholars have sought to defend the historicity of the resurrection, others have rejected the very attempt to do so. At stake is the question of what the resurrection accounts mean. We’ll explore these issues in this talk, with reference to thinkers such as Rudolf Bultmann, N.T. Wright and Hans Frei.
