Education is coming home to Exton Park
From being established as the UK’s first teacher training college in 1839, the University of Chester has a rich history when it comes to teaching Education courses.
From September 2024, our Education courses will be returning to Exton Park, where we will have a range of new dedicated facilities to aid students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to pursue careers in the children’s, young people’s and families’ workforce.
Our Molloy Hall building will be undergoing a full refurbishment to become the new home of Chester School of Education. This new location will allow all staff and students to work together, on one campus, with facilities adapted to their specific needs.
The new location will promote student engagement with this currently underutilised space, within a contemporary, welcoming setting.
