Dr Anjali Shah

I’m a Physics specialist, having taught Science in a variety of schools including working as a Head of Department. I joined Chester in 2018 and in addition to leading the Secondary Science PGCE course I teach academic and professional studies modules.

I completed both my first degree and then a PhD in Physics, and then worked in industry for Unilever for 8 years. After some experience in schools, I decided to change career and completed a PGCE at the University of Manchester.

In 2018 I completed my MA in Education and I continue to pursue my research interests into the experiences of career changers within education and examining issues of diversity, bias and representation within Education.
