Lynne Connolly is a Senior Lecturer in Photography within the department of Art, Design and Innovation. She teaches across all levels and also runs book arts sessions within the department. Lynne is also a disability link tutor, helping to support students and refine provision to support the learning environment.
Research interests include the use of book arts, memory and narrative. Research and project work oscillate in and out of photography, book arts, stitchography and well-being, and try to give presence to that which might otherwise be unspoken, and aims to do so with a modicum of creativity and even humour… Lynne has exhibited widely in the UK, Ireland, and US. She continues to facilitate workshops in the above areas particularly related to mental health and wellbeing, thus developing practice based research.
