Rosie Sinclair

Rosie Sinclair worked in family law practice in Birmingham city centre for several years before moving into law lecturing. She is active in discussions on public policy issues relating to her subject areas.

She has taught family law at various universities and is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester and Module Leader of Family Law at Year 3, Level 6. Her MPhil is on the Church of England’s Influence on the Divorce Reform Act 1969 (now consolidated into the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973), the law that still governs the divorce process. This work will form the basis of a publication for the 50th anniversary of the Divorce Reform Act 1969. Rosie has spoken at national conferences on this subject.

Rosie is also Module Leader of Law, Ethics and Morality at Year 1, Level 4. Her research interests include the interface between law and ethics and law and religion.

She is also the Level 4 co-ordinator.
