Senior Lecturer
A retired senior detective with over ten years experience of managing homicide investigations and other investigations into suspicious and unexplained death. A former Head of CID in a busy police division with experience in dealing with partner agencies, working with the media and liaising with other law enforcement agencies.
Since retirement from the police service in 2015, I have worked as a lecturer and more recently as a Senior Lecturer with the Institute of Policing.
I hold both Undergraduate and Masters Degrees and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I am a module leader for teaching modules namely managing Investigations in relation to Missing Persons Investigations, Managing Critical Incidents and Major Investigations and Forensic Science and Criminal Investigations. I am facilitator for the Hydra Immersive Learning System.
