Dr  Jack Callaghan

Jack is an experienced, fully qualified Physician Associate (PA) currently working within General Practice for the past 3 years. He is in a senior PA position and takes an active role in teaching and mentoring qualified PAs as well as student PAs on placement and in University.

Jack is a fully qualified Physician Associate with a passion and interest in medical education and is particularly excited about helping to develop and nurture the fledgling PA role for the future within the ever-changing landscape of the NHS. He has a background in Biomedical Science and Anatomy and after obtaining his BSc from the University of Sheffield and working for several years within the NHS, he undertook his Post-graduate Physician Associate training at the University of Liverpool. Since graduating, he is one of the few qualified PAs working within General Practice within the North West and he is eager to help use his own training and current clinical practice experiences to help guide and educate the future PA workforce to be the absolute best medical professionals that they can be.
