Abigail Price

Abigail is a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) having completed the Msc in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Chester. Abigail is also a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Abigail currently lectures on the undergraduate and postgraduate Nutrition and Dietetic programmes and leads on the Postgraduate programme. Abigail also leads on clinical placements and works closely with key stakeholders to maintain dietetic clinical placements.

Following qualification in 2005, Abigail has worked in the acute clinical and community environments in different specialist / advanced areas of dietetics. Abigail has a special interest in artificial nutrition support, specifically ethical feeding decisions. Abigail also has experience managing an acute dietetic team as well as managing a range of other health professional teams involving service development and professional leadership. 

Abigail has successfully completed her non-medical prescribing qualification and continues to seek out learning opportunities with regards to academia and clinical practice.
