Emma Cropper
PhD Student
Emma qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2003 from the University of Teesside and after a career in the NHS, private sector and as a lecturer-practitioner at Manchester Metropolitan University, she joined the University of Huddersfield as a Senior Lecturer in 2009. Emma is currently the course leader for the BSc Physiotherapy course and teaches across several modules, including the musculoskeletal physiotherapy module for which she is the module leader. Emma became interested in sports injuries after her work as Head Physiotherapist for the England Touch Association (2010-2017), supporting the squad both Nationally and Internationally and as physiotherapist for athletes at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2014.
