Studied my BN (Hons) at Glyndwr University and awarded the RCN in Wales Student Nurse of the Year 2014. Since qualifying have worked as a staff nurse in ICU/HDU.  Became a Community Nurse in 2015 and apart from a short time as an Education Facilitator in End-of-Life Care, continued with Community Nursing and completed my Specialist Practitioner Course in District Nursing in 2019 and awarded QNI SPC DN Nurse of the Year 2019.  Which led on to me setting up a Specialist Nurse role in Homeless and Inclusion Health in 2020.  I joined the University of Chester as a Practice Education Facilitator on the Clinical Placement Expansion Programme (CPEP) in March 2022.

Have taught as a Visiting Lecturer in clinical skills and have recently begun to deliver the Suicide First Aid Training to PRN students. Also support the delivery of the Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor workshop training to registrants in practice.

I am passionate about Homeless and Inclusion Health and Primary Care.
