Wayne Connor-Scahill

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical mental health settings. My areas of experience include acute care, substance misuse services, homelessness, early intervention in psychosis and family interventions.

I have also had many roles in leadership across a variety of programmes, including: setting up services looking after patients and families with psychosis and supporting services across the north west of England; clinical service manager roles in front line mental health care; and redesigning services and then working with commissioners to demonstrate innovation and improvement. I also worked on a national programme regarding integration of health and social care with NHS Improving Quality (NHSIQ).

I have extensive experience of supporting my brother who has autism and psychosis – this is something that has driven my passion for health care improvement and innovation.
