Tim is a PhD student in the School of Psychology. He completed his Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Chester in 2017 to the level of Distinction. Tim has previously worked as a therapist for mental health services around North Wales and England, including Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Primary Care Mental Health Services within the NHS, and Body Positive Cheshire and North Wales. Tim is currently a member of the Research Centre for Contextual Behavioural Science within the School of Psychology.

Tim's PhD focuses on the constructs of psychological flexibility and self-authenticity and he is primarily investigating if helping lesbian, gay, and bisexual people to live more self-authentically can increase their psychological wellbeing.

Tim has taught on PS5015: Becoming a psychological researcher.
