Amanda is a Lecturer in the Management department at the University of Chester Business School. Prior to this, Amanda headed up the Early Careers team at BAE Systems managing their apprentices, graduates, undergraduates, and outreach programmes for the Air sector at the Academy for Skills and Knowledge in Samlesbury. Before that, she worked in partnership with Alliance Manchester Business School to develop and deliver a senior leadership programme around the globe to all sectors of BAE Systems including Australia, the Middle East, and the USA.

Amanda has been involved in many diversity and Inclusion events in previous roles, as well being a STEM ambassador to try and reach out to excite young people (particularly girls) in STEM related subjects at school and is passionate about learning and helping young people to achieve their potential. As a qualified project manager, she brings a level of organisation and structure to things, but her drive is to be supportive, inclusive and help others.
