Karl Sinnott
Programme Leader MSc Digital MarketingKarl is currently the Programme Director for the MSc Digital Marketing at the University of Chester. He is a Senior Lecturer and also an Assessment Officer for the Department. Having spent around 25 years working in various Senior Marketing roles, Karl moved into Professional Education initially and then into running Masters Progammes at Chester and previous institutions. He led an MBA in Legal Services and a Masters in HR at BPP, by way of example.
Current module specialisms include Understanding the Digital Customer, and Digital Acquisition, Conversion, and Retention, although Karl has previously delivered on Digital and non-digital Modules including Data-Driven Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Digital Marketing Planning, Digital Disruption, Marketing Communications, Website Development, Brand and Marketing Planning.
Currently working on the final version of his doctorate, which looks into the outsourcing of Digital Marketing, having worked both client and supply side, Karl retains a keen interest in this subject. He also has an interest in all things Digital Marketing and, in particular, Online Consumer behaviour. He co-wrote a chapter on the subject which was published in 2017.
