Dr Lisa Rowe

Lisa is the programme leader for the DBA and DProf and is responsible for the delivery of doctoral research and researcher development workshops. She supervises a range of DBA, DProf, PhD and MBA students throughout their studies, research activities and publication journeys. She is experienced in the development and provision of accredited executive education, work-based postgraduate programmes and partnerships, leading the design, development and growth of a range of academic enterprise including executive, work based and lifelong learning education, recognition of prior learning and dual accreditation of programmes to meet the varied and complex needs of individuals and their organisations across a range of sectors.

Lisa's teaching largely relates to the supervision of negotiated work-based investigative projects at postgraduate level, spanning a range of themes including: applied business, management and leadership for professionals; experiential learning and reflective practice at work; leadership, coaching and mentoring; talent management; organisational behaviour; resilience at work; and designing practitioner research.

Lisa's research interests are very much focused around lifelong learning, specifically linked to leadership, resilience and human-centric approaches to the future of work. Currently, her supervisory research themes include: thriving at work in hybrid contexts, organisational and personal resilience, organisational ambidexterity in a range of contexts, mentoring and coaching for well-being and engagement, motivators, barriers and enablers for lifelong learning, psychological capital interventions in HR practice, dynamics of intergenerational workforces and organisational belonging.
