Chris Davis
Programme Leader BSc Forensic Biology (Single & Combined)Chris is the programme leader for BSc Forensic Biology, both single and combined honours and runs the Wildlife Crime module on the MSc Wildlife Conservation Programme.
He has taught at the University of Chester since 2005. His career in forensic investigation began in New Scotland Yard and he worked and trained in London in the specialisms of forensics for twenty years.
He is experienced in the practical skills of crime scene examination, fingerprints, laboratory work and the preparation and presentation of expert witness evidence at criminal courts. I was a qualified forensic instructor and assessor.
Chris teaches the forensic investigation of both human and animal crimes, focusing on the recovery and analysis of physical evidence and the presentation of expert witness evidence at court.
Chris is involved in the study of red squirrel populations in Cloccaenog forest.
