Conference explores harnessing the power of AI
A conference looking at how education professionals can harness the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) will take place at the University of Chester.
The University is partnering with IN Professional development and The Institute of Government and Public Policy for the Second Annual Maximising AI in Learning and Education Conference 2025 which will be held at University Centre Warrington’s Time Square building.
The event will bring together educators, innovators and thought leaders from around the professional learning and development industry.
Speakers include Professor Jackie Potter, Dean of Academic Innovation at the University of Chester; Karen Cregan, Senior Lecturer, University of Chester Business School and Maud Duthie, Programme Manager in the University’s Faculty of Science Business and Enterprise.
The day will be a platform for exploring the transformative power of AI in shaping the future of learning and education. It will delve into the cutting-edge applications, strategies and best practices that are redefining teaching and learning. Through insightful discussions, real-world case studies and expert insights, it will navigate the uncharted waters of AI's role in shaping the future of learning and development, ensuring individuals and organisations thrive in this era of extraordinary change.
Sessions will include - Harnessing AI’s Potential with Human Values; Ethical Considerations in AI Education: Ensuring Responsible Usage; The Role of AI in Driving Content Creation and Personalised Learning and AI and Assessment.
The one-day event is open to Learning and Development Specialists, Professional Trainers and Coaches, HR and Talent Development Professionals, Educators, Academics and Researchers, Training Managers, EdTech Entrepreneurs and Developers, AI and Technology Enthusiasts, Learning Experience Designers, Instructional Course Designers and E-Learning Content Creators.
