Teaching and scholarship explored in public lecture
An academic story from lecturing to management will be explored in a public lecture at the University of Chester.
The lecture, Teaching and Scholarship in Higher Education, will describe Professor Jackie Potter’s origin story from lecturing in environmental science to the management and leadership of educational development in the UK and Ireland.
Jackie is Professor of Learning and Development in Higher Education at the University of Chester and will deliver this inaugural lecture on Thursday, November 21 in the School of Education building room 016 at Exton Park from 6pm.
During the lecture she will share her insights for success in academic and third space roles, by drawing on her own research and her support for others to develop their practice, pertaining to higher education leadership, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and teaching excellence and expertise.
