This page will provide you with all the information you need to join us from Norway. From country-specific entry requirements, application queries, local representatives, your student experience and much more, we’ll support you every step of the way!

Entry Requirements

General entry requirements for each level are provided below. Some programmes do also have additional course-specific requirements which can be found on the individual course pages. Please ensure you are able to fulfil the programme requirements and meet the academic standards expected before submitting an application.

Undergraduate Study

  • Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skole with grade 3 or above.
  • Vitnemål fra Teknisk Fagskole/Tekniker with a grade of Bestått or above.
  • Successful completion of the Høgskolekandidat with a grade of 3.0.

Pre-Masters

  • Please contact your International Officer for more information on the Pre-Master's entry requirements for your country.

Postgraduate Study

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% or above.
  • Candidatus Magisterii recognised Norwegian University with an overall grade C.

English language entry requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that they have an appropriate level of English language to be eligible to study one of our foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate courses. The level of English required depends on the course applied for.

We accept the following English Language qualifications:

  • Videregaende Opplaering (VVO) English (completed during the 1st year of the VVO)
    • Undergraduate: 4.0 or above
    • Postgraduate: 4.0 or above
