"What I like most about the course is the lecturers. With Chester being a relatively small university, I feel I can always ask for help and approach my lecturers without hesitation."

I chose to study here because I had attended an international horse show in the city previously and it seemed like a beautiful place and a potential home away from home. As soon as I moved here, I felt safe and welcome. The people here are really friendly and are always willing to help you out with directions and picking out the best restaurants.

What I like most about the course is the lecturers. With Chester being a relatively small university, I feel I can always ask for help and approach my lecturers without hesitation. Their doors are always open and they are so supportive and really want you to succeed.

With the programme, you get to do a five-work work placement which is great because you can go back home (your country of origin) to do it or anywhere in the UK. The university has links with a number of organisations in the local area and can place you in some exciting roles.

When choosing university, something that really caught my eye about Chester is that it offers a Law in Context module which involves mock trials and practical assignments. This really gets you out of your comfort zone and gets you used to public speaking which is really important if you’re serious about pursuing a career in the industry.

At Chester, there are many opportunities to volunteer and make a positive impact on the local community. One of the charities I work for is Milking it for Money which raises awareness for mental health. All the money we raise goes towards charities and raising awareness. The group has a lighter side to it however. We do ‘milkings’ where we pour milk over ourselves and it’s great fun seeing the lecturers do it!
