Biography
Andy is Associate Professor of Active Citizenship at the University of Chester, Director of Pro Bono & Community Engagement for the Law School, and supervising solicitor for our free Legal Advice Centre.
Teaching and Supervision
Andy convenes the Employment Law and Company Law modules and teaches on skills based modules which aim to prepare students for the world of work.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Andy's research interests lie in student empowerment across a variety of activities: The Higher Education experiences of student-parents; Student voice (Particularly closing the feedback loop); Co-creation of learning, teaching and assessment with students; Embedding employability and articulation of skills for work; Qualifying Work Experience under the Solicitor's Qualifying Examination.
