Biography

Agata Wojtkowska FHEA is a part time lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and teaches on the Insessional programme for international students.

Teaching and Supervision

Agata is currently a part-time lecturer on the Insessional English (ISE) programme and she teaches English for Academic Purposes (EAP) across various disciplines. She is an experienced tutor in EAP and ESP.

Research and Knowledge Exchange

She is interested in developing students' assessment literacy and academic skills, including academic writing. She explores and utilises genre analysis and contextualised, authentic resources as tools to engage students in class. As she is particularly interested in facilitating international students' transitions into Higher Education and into postgraduate degree study, she also explores important themes of student belonging, feedback, and 'masterness'.
