Daniel Stratford

Biography
Daniel is a PhD candidate in Social and Political Science. In which the topic of his thesis is the political economy of Senegalese street vending in the case study of Ibiza, Spain. Beginning in September 2021, he is submitting his thesis in September 2024. Daniel's other roles at the University of Chester include an administrative role for the Outreach Skills Clinic for Assessment (OSCA) in the Department of Practice Learning. In which his main role is the day-to-day administrative needs of the OSCA provision including the development of Eventbrite pages, calendars, and the hiring of visiting lecturers.
Teaching and Supervision
Daniel has taught as a Visiting Lecturer and Learning Facilitator in the Department of Social and Political Science
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Daniel's research interests are in International Political Economy, the prevention and limitation of African migration into Europe (the Euro-African Border), and French post-structuralism.
