Eleanor Warman
Senior Lecturer
Biography
Eleanor Warman is a senior lecturer on the MA in Clinical Counselling in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the University of Chester, UK. She teaches, supervises dissertations and holds a small private practice counselling and supervising. She also undertakes writing and review work on good practice for the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. In 2024 she was awarded a Faculty PhD Studentship from WELS at the OU to research continuing bonds and textiles in bereavement.
Teaching and Supervision
Eleanor teaches across multiple MA in Clinical Counselling modules including issues around theory, ethics and professional practice as well as facilitating professional skills and personal development groups and being particularly involved in the professional and practical elements of counselling placements. She also supervises MA dissertations.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
