Biography
Joe is a lecturer in the school of Computing and Engineering Sciences at the University of Liverpool. He provides teaching for a range of computer science focussed modules. Dr Joe Collenette has researched and taught in computer science since 2020.
Teaching and Supervision
Dr Joe Collenette's teaching relates to practical considerations. These include databases in practise and the development of AI.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Joe Collenette is interested in agent decision making, with a focus on explanation. The aim is to allow agents to explain their decisions in a way that users can reason about how agents came to make their action or inaction. Additionally Dr Collenette has interests in AI & Law, where AI can support lawyers in providing access to justice.
