Biography

John joined the law school as an undergraduate student, he has completed his degree and PhD within the department. John’s PhD is entitled ‘Law students with Dyslexia and their experience of academic assessment’, it reviews the implications of equality law for students with Dyslexia alongside an exploration of their experience within legal education. John is the programme leader for the LLM law. John has undertaken consultancy and training for companies within the north west and within the charitable sector with a particular focus on Education Law for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities John is a chair of Governors for a local school.

Teaching and Supervision

John teaches on a range of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His focus is on Constitutional and Administrative law, with specialism in Human Rights and Education Law.

Research and Knowledge Exchange

John's research interest are focused on the Law relating to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Human Rights. John's research has predominantly examined these issues within Education contexts.
