Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer in Professional Education, providing a supportive learning environment for students to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve their studies whilst guiding them with their future goals. I use innovative learning and teaching practices such as Lego Serious Play and Immersive Technology, to encourage creative thinking and practical application to workplace issues.. Business Growth/Inclusive Employer Academic lead – Providing consultancy, coaching and specialist guidance to companies to support them in developing innovative and profit-making activities which support long-term growth whilst demonstrating equality, inclusivity and diversity and supporting talent. I am a tutor for the European Training Consortium in Public Health (ETC), working with International Academics to champion the interdisciplinary role of Public Health and Businesses to support Community Wellbeing. Teaching and Supervision
Work-Based Learning Placement module for the University for all second-year students. Partnership lead – working with students from a wide range of professional environments, to ensure academic standards and strategic connections are comparable across partner sites. Work-Based and Integrated Studies (WBIS) Undergraduate and Post Graduate Teaching. - Involves activities which encourage and support working professionals to complete a study which facilitates their career/life goals. Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship, (CMDA) - Programme Manager and Module lead for Skills and Approaches to work-based projects, Managing People and Negotiated Experiential Learning. (NELM) for undergraduate and post-graduate studies Postgraduate teaching for Domestic and International students - MBA and MSc. Topics include, Leadership and Change, Strategic and Human Resource Management. Masters Dissertation Supervision Personal Academic Tutor - Providing pastoral support and using my coaching skills to ensure that they can support their University goals.
