Biography
I have been a registered nurse for over 30 years, with a BSc in Psychology, MA in Higher and Professional Education and I am a fellow of the HEA. I have over 20 years of clinical experience within the acute area and 20 years teaching experience on various professional programmes with the HCPC and NMC.
Teaching and Supervision
I have over 20 years of clinical experience within the acute area and 20 years teaching experience on various professional programmes with the HCPC and NMC. Programme lead, coordinator and module lead experience for all academic levels for over 20 years. I have previous experience as an External Examiner with London South Bank University – This was for a Professional Practice Programme for post-registration nurses.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Research interests are pre-course work experience and attrition rates - I would like to expand my research in the future. My research would include why students choose the course that they do and what influences their success or failure
