Michael Doughty

Biography
Michael Doughty is an experienced lecturer in nursing and healthcare at the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Society at the University of Chester, UK. He provides clinical and theory support to healthcare students, who are undertaking a program toward a professional qualification. He is a member of the British Association of Critical Care Nurses (since 1995) and the Critical Care National Education and Research Forum (since 2019).
Teaching and Supervision
Michael Doughty is an experienced lecturer within the University of Chester, UK in the area of advanced acute healthcare skills and theory teaching. He teaches practice skills to a range of healthcare professionals. Michael has been an experienced clinical educator, for several years, in a range of acute practice areas.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Michael has a research interest in Collaborative Learning in Practice, which is related to healthcare interprofessional in practice working alongside our nursing students.
