Biography

Mariam is a dedicated Lecturer in the Mental Health and Learning Disability Department, bringing extensive experience in critical care nursing and elderly care to her role. As a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, UK, and a member of the Royal College of Nursing, Mariam demonstrates a commitment to professional excellence and ongoing learning.

Teaching and Supervision

Mariam teaches on both the TNA Apprenticeship Programme and the Direct Entry TNA Programme. She is the Module Leader for HS4004 and contribute to HS4003 and HS4005.

Research and Knowledge Exchange

Mariam's primary research interest lies in the expansive field of critical care illness. With a fervent dedication to exploring various facets of critical care, Mariam is driven by a desire to deepen understanding and improve outcomes for patients facing severe health challenges. Mariam's research interest in critical care illness reflects her dedication to advancing knowledge, improving patient care, and informing evidence-based practice in critical care settings. She is committed to collaborative research efforts that have the potential to positively impact patient outcomes and healthcare delivery on a global scale.
