Dr Svetlana Mysina

Biography
Dr. Svetlana Mysina is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, where she leads the Master of Science in Oncology program. She holds a PhD in Physiology from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany. Prior joining Chester Medical School Svetlana was a cancer researcher and has extensive teaching experience at several UK universities, including Glasgow University, Newcastle University and the University of Sunderland.
Teaching and Supervision
Svetlana is leading MSc Oncology programme and Modules MD7011 Oncology, MD7012 Therapeutic advances in Oncology and MD7003 Clinical Medicine. She is also widely involed in teaching accross different programmes and levels at Chester Medical School.
Research and Knowledge Exchange
Her research was focuses on cancer biology, particularly neuroblastoma and chronic myeloid leukemia, and she has published widely in high-impact scientific journals.
