Sue Taylor

Biography

Sue has more than 20 years experience in academia and is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Science. Sue’s research initially focused on paediatric exercise science but has more recently focused on health and ageing related topics. Sue teaches on the BSc Health and Exercise Science and the MSc Exercise Medicine courses at University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS) and is the programme leader for both of these courses.

Teaching and Supervision

Research and Knowledge Exchange

Sue’s principal area of research was paediatric exercise for her PhD and for her 2 year-doctoral position at Liverpool John Moores University with the SportsLinx Project, which focused on childhood obesity, health and fitness. Since then, she has expanded her research in to health, chronic disease and ageing.
