Biography

With over 15 years of experience as an architect and designer Simon has worked for a number of award-winning design practices and has experience of leading projects in a range of specialisms that include set design, exhibition, museum, education, residential, hotel and community-focused typologies. Ongoing research and self-initiated projects explore the relationship between theory and practice as a means of understanding and re-positioning the relationship between environment and occupant. Drawing from sustainable, historic and contemporary design experience outputs have resulted in national and international collaborations with artists and fellow designers which have in turn enriched his teaching practice.

Teaching and Supervision

Simon lectures and leads modules at Level 4, 5 & 6 of the University of Chester's BA (Hons) Interior Design programme.
