Chester Law School has a strong research and research-led teaching ethos based on Human Rights, Discrimination and Equality Law, and Social Welfare including Legal History, Family Law and Education Law.

Our Wheeler site is in Chester’s ‘legal quarter’ and sits between Chester Crown Court and Chester Magistrates’ Court. It is also within walking distance of Chester city centre. You will have access to modern facilities including a mock courtroom.

As well as the academic study of Law and its role in society, our curriculum is focused on maximising your employability potential via taught modules relating to the practice of law, and work placement modules. We offer co-curricular activities including pro bono and community outreach projects, as well as mooting, guest lectures and debating opportunities.
