Sociology

Our lively peer workshops, projects and group work allow you to discuss theories and ideas in an open and positive environment. Staff are published academics with a passion for their subjects, and they are active in a range of communities. Students are supported to develop their own interests by choosing relevant and inspiring topics to study.

Our Sociology course is taught at Exton Park. Close to the on-site library, we offer a dynamic learning environment with shared spaces for students to mix, discuss their work and undertake independent study.

You’ll have the opportunity to put theory into practice and undertake work experience opportunities. Innovative assessments such as funding proposals, reports and presentations equip you with the knowledge and skills relevant to careers in the public, private, social and community sectors.
