Stage 2 Enrolment In-Person Enrolment / ID Card Collection

Once you’ve completed online enrolment and arrived on site, you’ll need to collect your University of Chester Student ID card from a designated collection point.

Your Student ID card is essential - it grants access to key university facilities (including the library and halls of residence) and acts as your official proof of student status. You'll also be given a lanyard when you collect it.

Please note: All students must wear their ID card while on university sites.

Group-Specific Information

Undergraduate Students (UG)

In-person enrolment is mandatory and takes place when you collect your Student ID card. This step confirms your attendance and enables us to notify relevant funding bodies, such as the Student Loans Company. Your funding is typically released within 3–5 working days after this step.

Postgraduate Taught (PGT) & Postgraduate Research (PGR) Students

You are not required to complete in-person enrolment in the same way as undergraduates. However, you must still collect your Student ID card from a designated collection point.

International Students

In-person enrolment is mandatory. You’ll need to bring your passport and eVisa share code, and you’ll receive your Student ID card during the process.
