The School offers a range of courses in the heart of Chester's 'legal quarter', with Law and Policing students benefiting from a unique, integrated learning environment.

Based at Wheeler, Law students will be immersed in a rich legal setting, with Chester Crown Court and Chester Magistrates' Court just next door, and a host of legal firms and barristers' chambers nearby. Policing students, meanwhile, will learn from academic staff who are experienced, retired police officers with extensive practical knowledge, supported by faculty members with specialist research expertise. The teaching approach is further enriched by significant contributions from operational specialists and partner agency practitioners, ensuring that both Law and Policing students gain a well-rounded, real-world perspective that bridges theory and practice.
