Global Mobility offers opportunities to gain experience abroad through study, internships and traineeships, or volunteering placements.
Taking part in global mobility opportunities can help students to:
- Develop cross-cultural awareness
- Build intercultural competency
- Improve language and communication skills
- Enhance career prospects and employability
The University of Chester’s Global Mobility team supports students planning to go abroad, as well as international exchange students coming to study at Chester, by providing guidance and support throughout the global mobility journey. The team comprises academic staff from the Centre for Student Exchange and Language Development and professional services staff from the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Placements team, and can be contacted by email at: ahsplacements@chester.ac.uk.
