At Chester, we span pure and applied mathematics, exploring the fundamental beauty of maths and its real-world applications.

Students have the opportunity to learn from our dedicated and innovative maths lecturers, whose research has been rated internationally excellent (REF2001). We have a tight-knit and vibrant community of undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, MRes and PhD research students and Mathematics Staff.
