One day conference brings global affairs to young people
Young people are being invited to learn about global issues at a one-day conference held at the University of Chester.

Year 11, 12 and 13 pupils are welcome to attend ‘A Changing World and its Global Challenges: The Role of Social and Political Science’, which takes place at the University's Exton Park campus on Wednesday, March 26 from 10am to 2.30pm.
The engaging and thought-provoking conference offers an exciting opportunity for students to explore pressing global issues with insights from leading academics; participate in interactive sessions across Criminology, Sociology, Counselling and Global Affairs, Politics and International Relations as well as discovering rewarding career paths addressing societal and global challenges.
The event is designed to inspire critical thinking and encourage students to see the transformative potential of pursuing a degree in Social and Political Sciences. It will include a campus tour and an interactive Social Science Expo including representatives from Cheshire Police, Chapter Mental Health and Chester and District Samaritans as well as information on courses in Criminology, Sociology, Counselling, and Global Affairs, Politics and International Relations; themed exhibits and participation from University student societies.
