Vice-Chancellor shares expertise at international education conference

Professor Eunice Simmons is speaking at PIE Live Europe in London, a conference that brings together an international audience of over 800 individuals from 250 organisations, representing 33 countries.  

Professor Simmons will feature on the panel, How to Manage University Reputation Beyond the Rankings. This session will explore how rankings continue to play a huge role in shaping a university's global reputation but will also look at alternative ways of measuring success. With some universities choosing to boycott major league tables, the expert panel will discuss the best strategies for improving and maintaining reputation, communications, strategy, crisis, marketing and international partnerships at institutions. The group will look at what is within the circle of influence of education professionals and what details really matter when it comes to shaping an institution’s reputation. 

The panel will also include Ruth Arnold, Executive Director of External Affairs at the Study Group; Leigh Kamolins, Director Analytics and Evaluation at QS Quacquarelli Symonds; Sirin Myles, Co-Founder and Director of The IC Global Partnership Ltd and Nick Cuthbert, Director of Research and Insight at The PIE. 

The PIE Live takes place from March 19 to 20 and attracts a wide spectrum of attendees from across the education sector to tackle and shape the future of international education.
