Research interests
An art historian with a background in medieval art in England and Italy. I have a research interest in images and imagery in Dante's Divine Comedy, and have given papers on such topics as the Contrapasso in Inferno and Beatrice and light imagery in Paradiso.
I am currently working on Norwegian Blue painting, and my own photographs reflect my deep interest in representations of landscape. I have exhibited on three occasions at the Grosvenor Open Art exhibition in Chester, and once in the University's Department show, also at the Grosvernor. I have a photographic exhibition forthcoming in Florence.
