Tailored Yarn Memories was founded by University of Chester graduate Gillian Seale and creates child-friendly eulogies and illustrated stories that help children preserve memories of loved ones after bereavement.

Through personalised storytelling and memory-focused resources, the business supports families navigating grief and helps create meaningful ways for children to remember those they have lost.

Since launching the business, Gillian has delivered a TEDx talk, successfully published her Postpixie book through a Kickstarter campaign, become a finalist in the national Santander Entrepreneur Awards and joined the School for Social Entrepreneurs.

The business has also delivered legacy painting workshops, bereavement support programmes and peer-led community initiatives for families experiencing loss. Tailored Yarn Memories is now developing new training resources to expand its reach and support more families across the UK.
