You already know The University of Chester, and we would be delighted to support you as you consider your next step. If you are an Alumnus of the University of Chester or its Associate Colleges, and you choose to study for a qualifying taught postgraduate course at the University, you will be eligible for our Graduate Loyalty Discount on your tuition fees. We are currently offering the following Graduate Loyalty Discount: 

2025/26 entry (courses beginning on or after 01/09/2025 and before 30/06/2026) and 2026/27 entry (courses beginning on or after 01/09/2026 and before 30/06/2027) – 20%  

The discount is only to be redeemed against a course commencing in the academic year 2025/26 and 2026/27. Our Graduate Loyalty Discount is reviewed each year and may be subject to change. This discount is only available for Home (UK) alumni. For information about scholarships for International students, please see our International Scholarships page.

  • A 20% discount is offered against tuition fees payable for relevant courses during the following academic years:
    • 2025/26: courses beginning on or after 01/09/2025 and before 30/06/2026.
    • 2026/27: courses beginning on or after 01/09/2026 and before 30/06/2027.
  • The discount is for those who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or PGCE awarded by the University of Chester or its associate colleges (i.e. University Centre Reaseheath and University College Isle of Man), who have not previously received this or a similar discount. Foundation degree graduates are not eligible for the discount. The discount is not available for those who have graduated with a University of Chester-awarded degree from one of the University's partner colleges.
  • Students who have transferred mid-course from another university are not eligible for the discount.
  • The University reserves the right to withdraw, or vary, any conditions of the initiative at any time without notice.
  • Discount may be forfeited if fees are not paid promptly.
  • Discount is only to be redeemed against a course commencing in the academic year 2025/26 and 2026/27.
  • Discount is only to be redeemed against a full priced taught Master's course.
  • Discount is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Students who hold any other financial award contributing to their fees must seek advice and may not be eligible.
  • Students must be self-funding for the entirety of their course.
  • Discount is not applicable to MBA courses.
  • Discount is not applicable to PGCE courses.
  • Discount is not applicable to the MBChB Graduate Entry Medicine degree course.
  • Discount is not applicable to Nutrition and Dietetics MSc and PGDip courses.
  • Discount is not applicable to Pre-registration Adult Nursing and Pre-registration Mental Health Nursing courses.
  • Discount is not applicable to research degree courses, including Master by Research (MRes) courses.
  • Discount is only available for Home (UK) alumni. For information about scholarships for International students, please see our International Scholarships page. 
  • Acceptance onto a Master’s course is subject to entry requirements.
  • The decision of the University as to a student’s eligibility shall be final.

  • Those who have outstanding prior-year financial debt to the University will not be eligible for the discount until the debt has been cleared.

  • The University reserves the right to remove the discount at any point during the course of study, should tuition fees not be paid within the stipulated payment schedule
