Your Enrolment
Enrolment is the process by which you officially become a student at the University of Chester. It confirms your place on your course, ensures we have accurate personal and academic details, and is essential for accessing university services and receiving funding (if applicable). Enrolment is different from admissions. While admissions involves applying and accepting a place, enrolment is what makes your student status official. Stage 1 and 2 of your enrolment must be completed at the start of your course and again at the beginning of each academic year.
Enrolment takes place in two stages:
- Online Enrolment (before you arrive) - you will receive a link in your welcome email with all the details to complete your online enrolment via e-vision. For more information, please click here.
- In-Person Enrolment / ID Card Collection (after you arrive)
Please note: If you are an international student, you will have some additional steps to complete as part of your enrolment. Information will be included in your welcome email. Please ensure that you have read through our dedicated International Student Handbook for all essential information. Guidance is also available.
